Workshop - Autumn Yin Yoga Immersion
with Jenny Warburton

March 29 (Saturday)
at 2:00 pm

Class length
120 minutes

Location
Kalamunda Studio

So while nature transitions from late Summer to Autumn, this Yin Yoga Immersion offers you the opportunity to gain perspective, insight and clarity as we prepare our bodies for the cooler seasons ahead.

In tradition Chinese Medicine, Autumn is the season of the element Metal. Autumn is associated with the lungs and the large intestine organ systems, governing the respiratory and elimination functions of our bodies. In the physical sense, these organs work concurrently in receiving and releasing.

The meridian lines associated with the lungs and the large intestine are those that affect the shoulders, arms, and neck opening up and creating space in the chest, shoulder and the upper back.

The therapeutic benefits include easing breathing problems as we shift stagnation from the lungs, increase lymphatic drainage and circulation as the yin yoga targets the upper body, chest and shoulders.

Jenny will be leading you through an infusion of revitalising Yin yoga postures encouraging you to move mindfully with kindness to create space within your body so you can transition to this new season with a renewed perspective. All you need to do is show up, be open to the experience; and let the yoga practice do the rest.
