Mindful Yoga
Mindfulness is “paying attention on purpose, in the present, and non-judgementally, to the unfolding of experience moment by moment.”
Mindful yoga is a slower paced practice where you get the opportunity to experience each pose mindfully; a practice designed to strengthen weak muscles, stretch tightened muscles and increase the mobility and stability of the entire body. It will strengthen core abdominal muscles, as well as the arms and legs, align uneven hips, balance shoulders and the upper body. The practice will lengthen your spine to release tension in the muscles and create more space and mobility between the vertebrae. A lengthened spine creates better posture and an overall improved quality of living. No previous yoga experience is necessary to attend this class.
